Yes. I met my husband on Yahoo Personals. We are happily married. We have been together for 3 years now. It is not easy to weed through the bull to get to finding someone decent though. Until you've met this person face to face, you don't really know them. You only know what they have told you. 4. don't put all your eggs in one basket. Until you have met someone that you both agree to be exclusive, don't stop dating other people. By that same token, don't make online dating your exclusive means of meeting people. Still get out and do things that you enjoy and meet people that way and tell your friends you are interested in meeting someone and let them fix you up as well
NO, I met my ex through Yahoo personals. It ended up she was just looking for a guy to provide for her before her true love matured enough to step up. I should have been suspicious when she said she wanted someone stable that could provide for her family and was putting on the hard sell so soon after we met

I have met other men through match and aol. It's tough. It took me a few years to find my husband. I took time off. I recommend it but you have to be realistic and know that it's going to take time. Don't get discouraged. Aim to meet potential friends and go from there. It worked for me. I really enjoyed talking with my husband. I liked his manner and he was easy going. It was nice.
